Coláiste Oiriall will finally play Coláiste Teresa, Kanturk in the Basketball Ireland under 19C Schools Cup final in the Basketball Arena, Tallaght later today (Wednesday). The contest had been contested in the form of an appeal, which was rejected.

The school’s first chance at a Boys’ All-Ireland title comes as a result of a victory over Wilsons Hospital, Mullingar in overtime (74-66) in the semi-final. Coláiste Oiriall had already defeated Castleknock College and Grange Community School in the Cup competition. The Kanturk side has had massive victories in all their Cup games to date.

Coláiste Oiriall’s under 19C Boys’ basketball team will take on Coláste Treasa from Kanurk this afternoon in the All-Ireland final of the Schools’ Cup competition in Tallaght.. Ádh mór orthu.
