Déanann muid comhghairdeas leis na scoláirí uilig a fuair torthaí ar dóigh Dé Céadaoin seo chuaigh thart agus a bhí an-sásta leis na tairiscintí CAO uilig a fuair siad ar an Luan. Beidh iardhaltaí Choláiste Oiriall scaipithe thart ar gach ollscoil agus institiuidí eile tríú leibhéal ar fud na tíre agus guíonn muid ádh mór orthu.

Coláiste Oiriall congratulates the class of 2017 who received very impressive Leaving Certificate earlier today. Again the results in the school were well above the national averages – 20% received well in excess of 500 points, approximately double the national average. 62% received well in excess of 400 points, again almost double the national average. The students will now undertake a diverse range of course in every university on the island of Ireland. We wish them well with the first round offers on Monday.

The ten students who received in excess of 500 points are Jorin Ó Conchúir (601 points), Eadaoin Ní Labhraí, Caoimhín Ó Ceallaigh, Aodán Ó Broin, Katie Ní Chléire, Eimear Nic Cionna, Inza Nic Canna, Cathal de Paor, Seán Ó Ruanaidh and Emma Ní Chleircín.  Seán, Eadaoin and Caoimhín received their primary education in Scoil Rois, St. Louis Primary School and Threemilehouse N.S. while the remaining seven received their primary education in Gaelscoil Ultain.

We wish them well at third level and we thank their parents for their co-operation and support for the past six years.  We congratulate our fifty odd former students on their excellent results.
