Ca va from Paris. Our little treasures devoted their second day to Eurodisney and Aquaboulevard. They are now in Versailles and will visit the Eiffel Tower later. After their evening meal and they will bowling. Some pics to confirm to you that all the little (and big ones are enjoying themselves)

Students enjoyed the behind-the-scenes tour of Stade de France but still would be very impressed with a similar tour in Croke Park. After lunch they enjoyed a few hours shopping – the most crucial few hours for some of the party.

Coláiste Oiriall will finally play Coláiste Teresa, Kanturk in the Basketball Ireland under 19C Schools Cup final in the Basketball Arena, Tallaght later today (Wednesday). The contest had been contested in the form of an appeal, which was rejected.

The Coláiste Oiriall St. Patrick’s Festival Concert will take place in the Garage Theatre on Monday night, 14th March at 7.30 pm. Everybody is really excited and looking forward to it. The school has a diverse and deep range of talent that will be on display on the night.

Coláiste Oiriall students have examined the 1916 proclamation and have rewritten it to reflect the challenges facing us in 2016. It is centered on their hopes, values and ideals. The opening paragraph commends the fantastic advances in technology but warns its readers to be careful about the pernicious side of the social media.

Coláiste Oiriall students, parents and staff have devised a list of 100 Irish contemporaries who could be possible signatories of the new proclamation drafted by our school population to commemorate Easter 1916.

Coláiste Oiriall hosted a concert on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day in the Garage Theatre where punters enjoyed the very best in music, song and dance. The concert affords the school the opportunity to showcase the diverse musical and other talents among the student population.

Coláiste Oiriall continues its association with Stagewise and the promotion of the arts in the school with the awarding of three scholarships to attend this year’s residential drama school in the King’s Hospital School during the first week of July.
